Bostin' good nosh at Halesowen College

HALESOWEN College’s training restaurant will be celebrating the Black Country in style, when it hosts a special night of comedy and speciality food on Thursday February 9.
Ian `Sludge’ Lees will be entertaining customers with his special blend of Black Country humour, while they tuck into a selection of Black Country Fayre, including the infamous starter of grey peas and bacon, followed by faggots and finishing off with Black Country sippet pudding.
For the less hardy appetites there will be a range of starters, mains and desserts to chose from, all prepared and cooked by diploma aatering students.
Head waitresses 19-year-old Becky Hawkins and her sister Kirsty, aged 16, said: “We have enjoyed planning this evening over the last few weeks, as part of our BTEC course, and will ensure that our customers have a `bostin’ night of Black Country comedy and food.”
