A HALESOWEN vets has created six new jobs by launching a 24-hour emergency service.
Manor Vets, Kent Road, has employed three new vets and three veterinary nurses for its A&E hospital style service, which will begin on February 20.
Darran Jannings, senior vet, said: “The practice will be manned 24-hours a day – so should an animal be taken ill at 3am, the owner can bring the pet to us and we can examine it and start the necessary treatment.
“If that means operating at 3.30am, we will do it, exactly as you’d expect if a patient was rushed to A&E.”
