Halesowen care home resident puts hands up to assault charge

A HALESOWEN care home resident has been hit with costs of £250 after he was convicted of assault.
Raymond Denston, of Shenstone Residential Home, Kent Road, appeared at Dudley Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday February 14.
The 54-year-old admitted assault by beating and was fined £100, ordered to pay £50 compensation, a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
